BACKGROUND:

 

Alpaugh Park is a three acre parcel of land centrally located in the community of Alpaugh on the Northwest corner of Tule Road and Park Avenue.  The city of Alpaugh is located in the southwest portion of the County and has a population of 1,026. 

On January 26, 1935, the Tulare County Board of Supervisors purchased land in the city of Alpaugh to be used for park purposes.
